Walmart High School (Single)
In March, 2002 West Jones High School was hit by a spring break tornado that forced the middle and high schools to look for another place to continue the school year. Walmart later offered the building from their first location and a makeshift school was built inside. The community of Laurel, MS pitched in and classes resumed. Reed Walters a science teacher wrote a song about their new school entitled Walmart High School. The song was played on local country station B-95 and was later picked up by other stations in the state and others as well. Paul Harvey featured the story on his national news broadcast. This product has been taken out of storage and represents the second label and run on these CDs. The single sold hundreds of copies featuring three labels. These are the CDs that the students of Walmart High School made ready for sale, flaws and all. They pressed the labels and checked the audio for quality in the old lay a way department.
